In the summer holiday month, you can meet another huge load on our roads, namely huge tanks transported from the manufacturing firm DUKLA Trutnov, s.r.o. to the power plant Ledvice. Various drivers might complain why in the very time of holidays such extensive loads need to be on the roads. Unfortunately, like harvesting crops shall be realized in summer and, therefore, harvesters need to move from one place to another, the construction of the power plant has its schedule, which shall be complied with.
Nowadays, DUKLA Trutnov, s.r.o., famous manufacturer of the water treatment equipment for the power industry, has finished the complete production of such unique equipment for the newly built energetic source of the power plant Ledvice with the total installed output of 600 MW. It concerns a set of equipment facilities for pre-treatment of water with multi-layer sandstone filters. Another set includes apparatuses of the demineralization station solved on the basis of ion-exchanger technologies and filtration equipment for the treatment of condensate. In addition to the deliveries of the actual filtration
apparatuses, the whole set is completed with a number of reservoirs with the size up to 100 m3.
The equipment is designed with the use of the latest findings in this area. Demineralization is solved with the technology of full pipes, which results in savings of chemicals required for regeneration of such equipment. Decreasing the impact on the environment is another great benefit.
